Plan B, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s production company, is hitting the ground running with an incredibly impressive slate of small yet intriguing films being readied for production. The list of films includes Peace Like a River, an adaptation of a Leif Enger novel, Internal Affairs, a remake of an incredibly successful Hong Kong action film, Act V with Pulitzer Prize wining playwright Suzan Lori Parks attached to write, and Lou Zamperini, a drama set to star Nicolas Cage with Antoine Fuqua attached to direct. Before all these, and many other, projects move ahead, Plan B’s logo will be visible ahead of the Wolfgang Peterson period action film Troy, a film that stars Brad Pitt, Eric Bana and Orlando Bloom. The company’s first actual production will be Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the Tim Burton project starring (who else?) Johnny Depp. Wow, what the hell was Plan A? The real kicker is that they're good people. Rats.

Surprise, surprise. She's naked in this film Monster, the film about the life of Aileen Wuornos, the first convicted female serial killer in U.S. history, has been picked up for distribution by Newmarket Films. Newmarket, the company responsible for releasing the indie hit Memento, will be releasing the film in December, just in time for Oscar consideration. The film stars Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci and will tell the story of a prostitute who was convicted of brutally killing seven men, acts she later claimed to have been taken in self-defense. Newmarket would not confirm if they will be changing their company name to Shiny Fuzzy Happy Films Inc.
Meg Ryan’s new film In The Cut is causing a stir in the film world after it debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival yesterday. Directed by Oscar-winner Jane Campion, director of The Piano, the film features a nude Meg Ryan partaking in some steamy love scenes with co-star Mark Ruffalo. We know they’re causing a stir because Meg Ryan’s publicist have told the world so. You can see some nipple in The Doors. A lot of nipple in Flesh and Bone
Dude, it's the guy from Wham! In what can only be described as bucking the Hollywood trend, NBC will be bringing back a new version of S.W.A.T. to the small screen. The big screen feature of the film proved such a hit for Sony that they will be producing an hour long program for NBC that features some of the characters of the film. Well, as long as they’re bringing back some of the characters, that makes it okay.
Dominic Purcell will round off the cast of Blade: Trinity, the third installment in the Blade movie franchise. The star of the short-lived Fox television program John Doe, Purcell will play the villain of the piece opposite the returning Wesley Snipes. The rest of the cast includes Ryan Reynolds, Jessica Biel and Kris Kristofferson who reprises his role as Whistler. The film will be written and directed by David Goyer, the writer of the first two Blade films. The film will film in Vancouver under the secret name of Shaft With Fangs. Who farted?

"How did you do that? How did you do that?!"
"Don't know. First time."
