Arlington Road director Mark Pellington will direct the Harrison Ford thriller The Wrong Element for Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow. The story revolves around the kidnapping of the wife and daughter of a security expert, who is forced to steal money from a bank he's protecting in order to pay the ransom for his family. As his efforts come to the attention of the polices, he races to complete the illegal transfer of funds in time. Of course, by “races” we mean moves as fast as his walker will allow him to. I'm just happy to be in the news again





Could be all that butter in his tuchus Marlon Brando’s body was cremated in a private funeral attended by family members only. The funeral was shrouded in secrecy and it was only revealed to the public on Tuesday. The cremation took place on Monday and is set to end sometime next week.
USA Network is hoping to revive the Kojak franchise with a new series starring Ving Rhames in the title role, replacing the late Telly Savalas, who died in 1994. It is the first time in recent memory that a black actor has taken over a long-running television role that was established by a white actor. The original series aired on CBS from 1973 to 1978 and was followed by numerous Kojak movies that aired on ABC. The new series is scheduled to begin production in Canada later this month. Now we get to decide what’s more disturbing; seeing Ving Rhames raped by a psycho hick or seeing him sucking on a lolly pop while trying to solve a murder. This Kojak will try a new form of interrogation...seduction
Please use alternative fuels Angelina Jolie has been offered Cambodian citizenship by the country's prime minister - in honor of her tireless charity work for the nation. The Oscar-winning actress, who adopted a Cambodian orphan in 2002, is currently on a two-day trip in the Asian country where she met Prime Minister Hun Sen. While in Cambodia, Jolie is giving the Cambodian community development organization $1.5 million to help a new environmental protection campaign. In other news, Billy Bob Thornton is still the dumbest man on earth.
