For you 28 Days Later fans comes news that Fox Searchlight is developing a sequel to the surprise 2002 hit. Directed by Danny Boyle with a paltry production budget of $8 million, the British horror film grossed over $45 million at the North American box office. Tentatively titled 28 Weeks Later, the project will not be directed by Boyle though he will likely wear a Producer’s hat this time around. The original was set in an England whose population was almost completely decimated by a virus that turned people into bloodthirsty monsters. The sequel takes the original’s concept a step further and sees the entire English population turned into Soccer hooligans. Contrary to popular reports, this is not Michael Jackson at a slumber party

Must be a Ginsu Quentin Tarantino recently told the Associated Press that he still plans on making Kill Bill Vol. 3 except that he doesn’t expect to make for another 15 years. The film would surround Nicky, Vernita Green’s daughter who witnessed her mother’s murder in the first volume of the apparent trilogy. In the film, the killer of Nicky’s mother tells the little girl that they’d be waiting for her when she came to seek revenge for he mother’s death. While the 15 year forecast might seem a long ways away, it still means the film will be Quentin Tarantino’s next release.
Orlando Bloom has been named Britain’s sexiest actor by Sky Movies Britain. The 27 year-old actor beat out perennial favorites like Hugh Grant, Jude Law and Ewan McGregor. The Troy and Lord of the Rings star barely beat out his Troy co-star Sean Bean for first place. Bloom will attempt to go for an unprecedented double win when Sky Movies releases its Britain Sexiest Actress list. Presented with no comment
