Get off of the sidelines and jump into the game as Gracie arrives on DVD on September 18, 2007, from New Line Home Entertainment. Based on true events from the lives of the Shue family, including producer and co-star Andrew Shue (TV's Melrose Place, The Rainmaker) and his sister and co-star, Academy Award®-nominated* actress Elisabeth Shue (Leaving Las Vegas, The Karate Kid ), Gracie is an inspirational film about a teenage girl (Carly Schroeder, TV's Lizzie McGuire, Firewall) who, after the death of her brother, decides to petition the school board to allow her to play on the all-boys high school varsity soccer team. Undeterred by the obstacles she faces from her family and community, Gracie finds the inner strength she never knew she had and perseveres to change everyone's beliefs of what she is capable of – including herself.
