Loved
1. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011)
Rooney Mara is fantastic. Fincher does right by the source material
2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II
Fitting end to the franchise. Exciting and well-made. Impressively tense considering we know how it ends.
3. Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Surprisingly great. Andy Serkis is the not-so-secret weapon behind how many blockbusters now?

Really Liked
4. Captain America: The First Avenger
Very good start to the series -- and a great lead-in to The Avengers. Evans is surprisingly good.
5. Thor
Manages to not be ridiculous despite the high potential for ridiculousness. Highly enjoyable and does the character justice.
6. X-Men: First Class
Very well done, with great lead performances. Questionable character choices weaken an otherwise potent mix.
7. Bridesmaids
Extremely funny, Kristen Wiig is a star.
8. Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
Ridiculous and entertaining in the best way. Brad Bird should direct everything.
9. Attack the Block
    Completely engrossing and confidently made.
10. Crazy, Stupid, Love
Better than it should be. Gosling, in particular, makes something out of what could have been nothing.

Just fine
11. Horrible Bosses
Worth your time -- several very funny moments.
12. Cedar Rapids
Funny and charming. It's missing a little something to make it great. Bonus points for the Wire references from Sen. Clay Davis.
13. Our Idiot Brother
    Enjoyable if ultimately harmless.
14. Paul
Always fun to see Simon Pegg and Nick Frost together, but ultimately not the most fulfilling experience.

Not terrible
15. Cars 2
Does exactly what it was intended to do...create additional opportunities to sell merchandise. Disappointing, particularly for Pixar. Too much Mater.
16. Green Lantern
Enjoyable if you don't think too hard about it. One too many plots make it less coherent than it could have been.

Terrible
17. The Hangover: Part II
A terrible rehash of the original.
18. Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides
    Ugh.
