Again, if the movie is as strong as people are guessing, the director has to find space here. Basically I'm picking the five DGA people, which is foolish. One will likely miss. Could the former director of Anchorman suffer at the hands of the snobby Directors Branch? |

The Director win for Inarritu at the Globes shows he's a contender, but it's not as guaranteed with Oscar. Of course, the DGA also boosted him, but Todd Haynes could make it in for Carol still...or will it be Spielberg to spoil the perfect 5/5 with the DGA? |
